Description

This third installment in my Modern-Day Witch series is a compilation of thoughts and messages inspired by quotes I have seen on social media or comments made on posts or television. Each rambling inspired by a quote will start with the quote. These ramblings are not meant to be preachy. They are simply thoughts I have had and been led to share. Each reader is meant to take the words written, contemplate them, and determine their worth for each individual.

About the Author

Raven Williams is a mother of three and grandmother of five. She currently lives in Florida caring for a disabled family member. At one time, she spent 10 years in Oregon and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. It is her plan to move back to the Pacific Northwest in the future. She came to writing later in life than most. In 2010, she was laid off from her place of employment due to outsourcing. A perusal of the current job listings showed a need for a Bachelor's Degree. Apparently, 30+ years' work experience wasn't enough anymore. During her first English Composition class, she had to write some short essays and papers. She found a knack and a love for writing. As a result, she started writing essays about things she was thinking about and posted them to a personal blog. Soon, the essay writing led to poetry writing. Around this same time, she came across a deck of oracle cards by Cheryl Harnish. These cards contained fractal designs. Her interest was peaked and she started researching fractals. In the course of her research, she came across a free software program, downloaded it, and started creating her own fractals. She is excited to see where this part of her journey takes her. It is her hope that the words she writes and shares touches the hearts and souls of those who read them.
